Ron Furman


Ron Furman was a successful businessman at a young age. He owned and operated a Children’s Day Camp, Riding Academy and Private School (Camp Furman 1958-1979) in Potomac, Maryland.  When he sold this facility, he used the profits to purchase several strategically situated parcels of land in Potomac.

He has sold well over 20,000 diversified types of properties. This is due in part to his strong community involvement where he has been extensively associated with local civic and professional organizations through the years including being the President of the Potomac Chamber of Commerce, founder of the Potomac Citizens Association, Montgomery County Liaison Committee, Suburban Building Industry Administration, the Potomac Society for the Arts.  Because of his outstanding leadership in the business community he was the recipient of the Businessman of the Year Award presented by the Governor of the State of Maryland, the Maryland State Senate, and the House of Delegates of the State of Maryland and the Potomac Chamber of Commerce.

Now, 44 years later, these combinations of networking, evident in his bringing together those in the development, construction and acquisition industries, combined with his many years of experience by having an extensive inventory of land which he assembled, have made him one of the top land sales agents in the Metropolitan area.

Dawn Gordon

A Washingtonian native, Dawn Gordon’s path to becoming a successful real estate agent was truly organic. She began working at age 18 as an assistant for her father, Ron Furman who founded, owns and still operates American National Properties. She gained invaluable first-hand experience prior to obtaining her real estate license, and once certified she began selling land. She moved on to working with custom home builders and single residential lot buyers before eventually graduating to selling commercial real estate. Dawn has worked the entire spectrum of the commercial end of the business throughout her 30-plus years as an agent.

Dawn’s natural abilities as an exceptional communicator, meticulous researcher and patient negotiator are all attributes that help her establish authentic relationships with her clientele. She’s been known to go beyond the call of duty when it comes to helping individuals reach their end goal, whatever that may be.

With over three decades of accomplishments in commercial real estate, Dawn handles everything from shopping centers to office buildings, medical spaces to retail, industrial and special purpose properties. She has a keen eye for taking a property that is zoned for one use and converting it with the help of her team for an entirely different use. She also takes pride in her work with local mom-and-pop and other small business owners and entrepreneurs in the area to realize their vision.

Tiffany has spent two decades with American National Properties, but her history in the business goes back to childhood in Maryland when she learned much of what she knows from her mother and grandfather, assisting in the buying and selling of residential, land, and investment properties across Maryland.
